FIRE POLICY

The Hirer is responsible for the safety of all occupants of the building including informing occupants attending your event where all the emergency exits are located

Furniture must be configured in both rooms so as to allow door-width direct routes to ALL the fire exits, which MAY NOT be blocked. However the 2 wired emergency doors towards the tennis courts  must not be opened unless it is an emergency

The gate nearest the tennis courts will be unlocked during occupancy for the sole purpose of allowing evacuation to the car park assembly point in the event of an emergency

If the alarm sounds evacuate the building in an orderly manner paying particular attention to anyone disabled or in need of special help e.g. children, injured persons on crutches, pregnant women etc

Fire extinguishers are available only if you are trained to use them and it is safe to do so
