GENERAL The Hall has an access off Thorpe Road, amenities include car park, Bowls Club and Tennis Club, children’s play area, with a separate car park adjacent to a large playing field, all owned and managed by the Community Association. The complex is in a residential area, we ask all to respect neighbours when parking, keeping noise to a minimum and adhering to our rules. The Hall comprises of two rooms that can be hired separately. or together. Communal facilities include male, female and disabled toilets and a large kitchen. A defibrillator is fitted to the exterior wall of the hall for community use. The inside and outside of the hall are no smoking areas. Front car parking is limited to 23 vehicles with cycle rack. Additional parking for 31 cars is available with access off Longthorpe Green. It is signed and adjacent to the playing field connected to the hall via a 100m. footpath.
MAIN HALL The main hall is 10.7 metres wide by 15 metres long. The room has a capacity for 100 people. Padded chairs and tables are in a large store off the main hall. The windows have electric external security shutters, can be opened and have green interior vertical blinds. There is no air conditioning and a sound control monitor. The kitchen has an electric serving hatch with doors opening to the hall and entrance lobby. The floor covering is easy clean laminate. A self-assembly stage and drop-down screen are available with agreement with the booking secretary. The building has wi-fi. Full hall plan and site plan click here. RIDGWAY ROOM The Ridgway Room is 3.9 metres wide by 5.9 metres long. The room has a capacity of 16 people seated or 22 people standing. It is carpeted and has a white and pin display board. View the photographs of the interior with tables and chairs.
THE KITCHEN The kitchen is available for general catering purposes. It contains the following domestic equipment. Standard electric cooker, fridge, microwave with commercial dish washer. Washing detergents are dispensed automatically.
For events that are special there are 100 sets of matching white crockery and stainless-steel cutlery which is included in hire cost. It is kept in a locked cupboard available on request.
